Designer Profile:

Alma van den Berg who is both the founder and the designer behind the label is a graduate of the Haute Couture School of Fashion Design.  Subsequent to finishing her studies she spent two years lecturing pattern making and design studies at the school while also supplying Spilt Milk to boutiques.During 2006 she worked abroad for the well known London based designer Jacques Azagury while returning to lecture full time in 2007 and 2008.

Alma's work has been showcased at various prestigious events and shows across Africa and in the UK. Alma is also a keen illustrator and started using her illustrations to create unique prints for Spilt Milk.

She has further supplied&styled custom made wardrobe for Music videos including Artists such as the Coca cola pop stars, Red Angel, Jimmy Dlu Dlu ,Dorp,Jozi Katelyn Convery and Duimpie se Maat. As well as commercials such as Brutal fruit, American Swiss and Ritz.

 Alma is also a creative freelance stylist for tvc,stills,films and music videos.
